Doom Patrol

The direct precursor to the method Morrison would later refine in The Invisibles. A team of post-human "misfits" (Crazy Jane, Robotman, Negative Man) confronts threats that subvert narrative logic itself — cults worshipping impossible geometries, sentient cities, entities that exist only as concepts. The first systematic application of the absurd as a tactical weapon against ontological control.
